Summer + Fall Conversation Topic:

'Modern Friendship'

Friendship matters... To laugh uncontrollably, sob unconditionally, and be able to walk for miles beside another human with whom you share a sacred + secure connection is a gift, a treasure, and even an art form… especially as we age and life gets messier.

For modern friendships to thrive, intentionality is key. What does that mean? Everything from taking inventory of real friends, to setting and respecting boundaries, aligning expectations, fostering vulnerability, inviting space for new relationships to take shape, and… wait for it… having the courage to be self-aware. What’s it like to be your friend?

These are some of the topics that we’ll tee up and invite you + your Seasonal Circle to explore.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We've got A's for your Q's

How does it work?

With your group, choose your host (they will be the main point of contact and register everyone in the group). Then pick your date to gather this season and read, view or listen to as much of the inspired content as you want. You will receive a pre-gathering video from us in your inbox to get you thinking and reflecting. From there you can look forward to thoughtful conversation with your circle of friends.

Do I have to read | view | listen to all the inspired content?

It's totally up to you. Our Seasonal Circle is inspired by a variety of women's stories and experiences that are reflected in the content we've chosen. The conversation framework + guided prompts draw from this, but your presence and lived experience will be enough to have a fulfilling Seasonal Circle experience with your group.

How much does it cost?

There is a $48 patronage fee that the host pays upon registration. This covers the registration for your full group. (If you're a group of 6, that's $8 each.)

What is the ideal group size for a Seasonal Circle?

A gathering of about 8 people is a great size, as it allows everyone to share and listen to each others' thoughts, experiences + reflections without feeling rushed. But Seasonal Circles can work for groups of 3-15+.

How often do you change the topic?

We plan to offer (2) themes annually: Fall | Winter topic and Spring | Summer. Our hope is that once you've gathered with us, your group will be inspired to continue circling up for more meaningful conversations on topics + themes that are important for you!

Why a Seasonal Circle?

There is SO MUCH good content out there - books, podcasts, articles, films... But once we've digested them, we don't always have the chance to ask ourselves "so what?" What did I find interesting? What did I learn? How does this affect me?

Everwell's Seasonal Circle is about engaging in fulfilling CONVERSATIONS led by thoughtful facilitators; welcoming introspection, inviting meaningful CONNECTION and GROWTH.

Your group of women with scaffolding from us to keep the conversation flowing.

What is the difference between a Seasonal Circle and a book club?

Rather than a conversation focused on the various themes of ONE book (that folks may or may not have finished), a Seasonal Circle is designed to inspire free-flowing conversation around ONE relevant theme that speaks to the womanhood journey, inspired by multiple mediums that you can read, listen to or view. And a Seasonal Circle is moderated by trained facilitators to keep everyone engaged and curious.

What do I have to do as the host?

Email your group, inviting them to a conversation in your home (or designated gathering space). Choose a date that works for the group. Register on behalf of your group. You will be our primary point person for your group, and via email, we will walk you through the simple preparations leading up to your group's gathering. On the day of your gathering, prepare with the snacks + beverages of choice and create your gathering space to include access to a screen with adequate viewing size for the group. Once your group has gathered and settled in, you press play and we will take care of the rest.

What if my group does not meet in person but digitally?

Zoom (or a similar platform) totally works for a Seasonal Circle! Choose a host that is familiar with sharing a screen on the digital platform (and follow the hosting guidelines above). The only difference is that once you all gather and settle in digitally, the host will share their screen and press play.
